About Me

Kyle Crane has performed or recorded/toured with artists such as Tim Hughes, The Minor Canon, Pete Christlieb, Bill Edwards, Pat Kelley, D.J Jedi, Chris Colangelo, John Pisano, The Grownup Noise, and Frank Potenza. He's opened for artists such as Poncho Sanchez, Kay Hanley, Patton Oswalt, and the Dresdon Dolls. Crane studied at Berklee College of Music under Terri Lyne Carrington, Ralph Peterson and Rod Morgenstein. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Berklee Achievement Scholarship. After playing professionally in Boston for a year he received the Lionel Hampton drumming scholarship. This brought him to Grad School at USC where he studied with Peter Erskine. Now an active studio drummer, Crane can be heard on records such as "First Impressions", an album featuring Really Doe and Kanye West. Currently he stays busy performing with his jazz trio and recording his debut metal album entitled "A Life's Wake.".
