Charlie Barrale

I started playing piano when I was 4 years old...taking lessons and hating every minute of it, now I thank God every day for this gift. I finally quit when I was 11 and picked up the guitar. I taught myself everything i know by trial and error...hopefully you think it worked out. My sister was always the singer in the family and so it came as a shock to my family when I began writing songs in high school and singing along with them. When I got to college (St. Louis University) I joined the all male A Capella group The Bare Naked Statues which helped to develop my voice further. Having finished my 4 years with the group I feel like I've taken a lot out of it, enough to continue my musical career and in new and exciting ways.
