Born in Cork(Eire), in the bleak 70's. Grew up in the bleaker 80's and spend most of the 90 's celtic tiger era pissed and wondering why I wasn't as rich as the papers kept telling me. Im the bassist with For Ruin (as of Nov 07) formerly of Carnún Rising (2000 - 2009) Metal Storm (occasional covers band) and have been squandering money, avoiding reality and making noise in metal bands for many many years. Along the way I sold paint, became a signwriter, tech support punchbag, telesales zombie, lived in Holland(a complete mystery)and have been known to crash the occasional motorcycle. I have a BMW K75 in-line triple and I call it Betty. I have a 1977 Yamaha XS 500 twin, a BMW R65 flat twin and a BMW R80 flat twin. My pride and joy is my Steve Harris (Im actually not a maiden fan!) signature series Fender Precision. I also play drums(competently), harmonica(badly), piano(like a drunk chimpanzee) and used to be a singer(using the term very loosely) in a couple of death metal bands(Erebus & Abhor).
In recent times I have become increasingly aware of the fact that humanity is in an evolutionary cul de sac and will probably stay there until we collectively kick the bucket. A lot of nutters and potential cult members claim this will be in 2012. I reckon thats not soon enough...
