The Legends Bio! We Love You Gary!
Well he started off my career at my hometown club of Leicester City in 1976 following a short stint as a medical student at King's College, London before breaking into Leicester's first-team squad in 1978. I played with Everton (1985-86), before going to Barcelona just prior to the 1986 World Cup Finals in Mexico. I then returned to England to play three seasons at Tottenham Hotspur before finishing my career in Japan. I was never once cautioned by a referee for foul play earning my reputation as the gentleman of football, but the truth is i was always too scared to make a tackle. Following retirement from professional football, I developed a career in the media, initially as a pundit before replacing Des Lynam as the BBC's anchorman for Match of the Day. This year has been a dire one. Firstly Michelle, my wife of 20 years left me for another man, Before my brother wayne was falsely imprisoned for tax fraud which is a huge conspiracy orchastrated by the scheming MARK LAWRENSON, who is attempting to steal my place as the anchor on MOTD.
