My latest? My new apartment and keeping it clean. And eating food/drink from the "Global Market" at Cub Foods (because I can't get to the Co-op). Getting my cello fixed. Reconnecting with old friends. Getting a hold of current, everyday friends. Grinding coffee just before brewing. Red wine. Pug snores. Cat purrs. Sounds of the like. Beards that look nice. Tattoo, cooking, weird ailment shows. Letters and postcards: I will dole out 41 cents for you. Finding a job. Working on happiness. Getting that urge to write and actually following through. Cooking, Baking, creating memory through smell. Saturday and Sunday morning radio in the car.
People I already know. People I don't have a clue about. People who I thought were cool, but too shy to say so. People who think I might be an interesting and fun person to know. You know, the kind of person you put in an address book. People who seem like they are really nice and then TOTALLY flake out...that sucks. In that sort of superficial "I want to meet a celebrity" sort of way, I would choose : Terrence Howard, Jeffrey Wright, Benicio Del Toro, Paul Giamatti. (The dead ones: Roald Dahl, Gregory Peck, Basquiat, Flannery O'Connor, Billie Holiday, Alfred Hitchcock).
