I am a porkchop, I have Portuguese roots thru and thru. I grew up in Florida right across from the worlds most famous beach...Daytona. A great place to visit otherwise you learned to be acustomed to hearing the roaring engines from the track, dodging millions of bikers, and dealing with crazy Spring breakers. Instead of wasting Mom and Dad's money hard earned cash on college and drinking, I took a different approach and decided to do things for myself. I joined the Navy so I could see the world, and of course get money for school. I stayed in that stand still and listen profession for 7 and a half years, traveling everywhere, seeing heart stopping sights; just one thing I didn't count on was my heart. It was a great time but I knew I was living my life and missing out on so many precious memories of the people who are most important to me, my family. So after my brain battled my heart, seems my heart won and I decided to start a new chapter of my life. So I closed my eyes and picked a spot on the map, I try not to regret my choices, cause everything happens for a reason...hum South Carolina I'm still brewing on that one. But I'm happy living life on my own striving to be the best at everything I do. My long term goal is to open a coffee shop, with my special signature to make it just that more impressive. I've had many trials and tribulations in my life but always try and keep my head up and smile. I will strive to succeed so when my children are old enough they will learn they can do anything they want, no matter what adversity stands in their way. If you want something, get it, make things happen for yourself, if you die trying you can rest easy knowing at least you did something to make that dream real. Live life for today because if you wait till tomorrow the opportunity might slip away.
