About Me

My name is Ira. I was born in Antigua one of the most beautiful carribbean countries in the world which overlooks the aja blue waters of the Eastern Caribbean States. It is famous for its 365 white sandy beaches and the world's #1 cricketer (Sir Vivian Richards). My greatest achievement in life came about as the result of me making a personal decision to follow Jesus in a relationship at the age of six. Little did I know how this decision would affect my entire life and change the course of it all. Being quite young I had no idea what the journey entailed, but as the years progress it became clearer. It has been about discovering the value, the worth and dignity that God has placed upon my life. Moreso, it is a journey of self discovery, involving unmasking and confronting everything I believed about myself that was a lie; to a paradigm shift of a false sense of reality, to embrace one of ultimate Truth. My sole purpose now is to live not to myself but in servitude to Him who has called me unto Himself and others. I continue to find in the person of Jesus Christ a love that I have never experienced anywhere else thus this becomes the message of Good News that I live to share with others. Contact me if you desire to learn more about Jesus, the one who calls us into a truthful relationship to Himself. His invitation to each of us can be summarized as follows: "Marry me and I will give you my Name".

Recently I read in our school newspaper an article that spoke about "celebrity neighbours". I found it rather intriguing, since the editor highlighted how much interest we take in the lives of people we would never meet such as movie stars, singers and other celebrities. He higlighted that we knew more about their lives than the people next door to us. So in contrast the people I would love to meet are those who go unrecognized. Those who perhaps through a kind deed, spoken word, a service offered or a smile to brighten someone's face. Perhaps that person is you. You are the celebrity that I would love to meet because of the world of a difference you are making in others every day.
