About Me

I'm not really a band, I was just checking if MySpace would let absolutely anyone be an "artist". Guess what... they do :)
If you know me it's probably because I maintain a fan website for bands related to Camper Van Beethoven, Cracker, Sparklehorse and F.S.K. called the-van.com (formerly CrackerWEB). If you don't know me then sorry I wasn't the other mungo you were looking for :)

Check this out. Do it!:

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Mungo
Influences: Influences is wrong. That's the only option I get here for signing on as an "artist". But I like most of the artists on the-van.com , i.e. Camper Van Beethoven, Cracker, Sparklehorse, F.S.K., Monks Of Doom, etc, and then there's The Dharmas/Steadman , Doves , They Might Be Giants , Kevin McDermott Orchestra , the people who did Pac-Man Fever, the people who remixed the I Love Horses advert and a busker who used to play electric guitar on the streets of Leeds in 1994.
Sounds Like: you need new speakers. Or ear muffs.
Type of Label: Major

Procrastination results in "new" song

I've got an exam on wednesday, and as is the normal way of things, doing anything seems better than revising! Hence plugging the mic in to the minidisc recorder and recording a quick version of a son...

Flying kites

There's a few places in mid-Wales where you can go and watch once-almost-extinct population of Red Kites getting fed.  They come in some numbers for the easy pickings of a local butcher's of...
