15-11 Enterprises

About Me

15-11 Enterprises is one of a few musical projects for James Russell (the character currently writing all this stuff in first person), the others currently being The Inflatable Voodoo Dolls, The Interzone Philharmonic Orchestra, and Arthur The Unstoppable Shit Machine. 15-11 Enterprises now also features Ant Banister from Lunar Module and assorted other acts on vocals.
The name comes from the fact that my birthday falls on November the 15th. However, I did discover a little while ago that 15 is the number of the Devil card in the Tarot, and 11 is the Qabalistic number ascribed by Aleister Crowley to the great work. I don't know if you can really read any significance into this sort of thing or not, but it may explain my long-term interest in things occult. So 15-11 Enterprises could just be one guy's bedroom band, or it could be part of a Satanic conspiracy to take over the world. Either possibility is viable, depending on what dimension you live in. Who knows, maybe it's both.
15-11 Enterprises has been open for business since 2005. All music is made using Fruity Loops and Hammerhead. If it's good enough for Tom Ellard, etc. You can find a discography of my released and unreleased projects somewhere in the blog on this profile. A full-length album will hopefully appear by early to mid-2009. (The original target of 2008 is obviously not happening.)
15-11 Enterprises uses this here editor thingy at MySpace Toolbox to get its page looking at least a bit more aesthetically pleasing (in my opinion if no one else's) than the default Myspace design. Thanks to IVD Joe for showing me how to do it.

Tonight, Matthew, we are going to be Missy Higgins

I've registered 15-11 Enterprises on Triple J's Unearthed thing. I see no particular reason why 15-11 music should not be played on Triple J, so why not.OK, so I'm a sellout whore before I've released...
