.. "I grew up in Maine and didn't appreciate it nearly as much as I should have so I am back a better person for my travels. I have lived in Florida, Ohio and Michigan. I have worked as a nanny, receptionist, phone psychic, financial aid rep, student advisor, and finally happened upon my career as a massage therapist. Its great work but very physically taxing. I am taking some time off to raise our kiddo. I've been with my husband for 8 years, married for 3. He has taught me a lot of good lessons in life. How to relate to people, how to be hardworking, how to make up with you're stubbornly mad, and how to be a more patient parent. Plus he filled me in on all the pop culture I missed as a kid. He rocks my world.I try to live in a green manner but am not self righteous about it. I love kickboxing and yoga and all things fitness. I eat local, or organic foods, raw dairy, and free range meats. I bake wicked sourdough bread. I love to garden. I love a good cup of coffee in the morning and my favorite season is fall.I enjoy grrl punk, imported beer, gothy clubs, hot punk chicks (www.suicidegirls.com), burlesque, pinups, tattoos....I am a birth junky. I love all things regarding pregnancy, birth, babies, etc. I aspire to become a doula someday and help women birth naturally.My son is the light in my life. He laughs a lot after he tells me something in his secret language. He has some of the coolest dance moves I have ever experienced, and great taste in music! He adores his veggies and everything I cook for him. He kisses me hundreds of times a day. We sleep tucked together at night and I'm trying to enjoy every minute because he is losing his babyness really fast.
