We gotta go to the crappy town where I'm a hero...

About Me

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that one way or another.-J. Robert Oppenheimer

My Interests

Drawing, reading, writing, painting, sculpting, sketching, doodling, photography, the art of Comedy, using my ninja-stealth to foil criminals and solve crimes, acting like a tourist, pointing out when people use words incorrectly, rubberbands, pretending I'm Canadian, comic books, dead people (in only the most purely socially acceptable way, I assure you), lighting techniques, Halloween decorations, Sephora (I never buy anything from there. I just like to look around), avoiding doing the things I should be doing, medical oddities (see above, "dead people"), speaking in half-assed dialects, pretending I'm invisible, going through people's bathroom cabinets and drawers, unexplainably falling down (often whist walking up stairs). I also enjoy moving. I am exquisite. If you can't see that, then you must be wearing very, very dark sunglasses.I know a guy who's Turkish.

I'd like to meet:

The naively ambitious. Harold Ramis. Richard Hell...circa 1975-77ish. Someone who enjoys the song "Ace of Spades" without irony, Lance Henrickson, other people who don't own iPods but secretly wish to, this guy:and these guys:

Music:

Elvis Costello, They Might Be Giants, Weezer, The Clash, The White Stripes, Elliott Smith, Reverend Horton Heat, The Cramps, Ryan Adams, Rufus Wainwright, The Beatles, Gogol Bordello, The Ramones, Guster, PJ Harvey, The Strokes, Green Day, The Smiths, Air, Sex Pistols, Catatonia, The Raveonettes, Run DMC, The Dwarves, the Hives, the (International) Noise Conspiracy, Johnny Cash, George Gershwin, Peggy Lee, bis, The Pogues, Tom Waits, Amazing Royal Crowns, The Pretenders, David Bowie, The Flaming Lips, Tenacious D, Guns n' Roses circa 1987, Devo, PJ Harvey, The Talking Heads, Rilo Kiley, The Specials, Sahara Hotnights, Leonard Cohen, Richard Hell & the Voidoids, Cake, Flogging Molly, Dead Kennedys, Nerf Herder, Hot Hot Heat, Franz Ferdinand, Hall & Oates, Oingo Boingo, Queen, Meatloaf, Radiohead, Elton John, Stiff Little Fingers, John Wesley Harding, Le Tigre, Los Straightjackets, Kid Dakota, Jay and the Americans, Roy Orbison, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Blondie, The Dead Milkmen, Beastie Boys, Combustible Edison, Interpol, to name just a few. You know...so your eyes don't start to bleed.

Movies:

Bottle Rocket, Magnolia, Cherish, Bandits, Zoolander, Anchorman, Clay Pidgeons, Swingers, Reservoir Dogs, Shaun of the Dead, Slums of Beverly Hills, Audition, Ichi the Killer, Halloween, Back to the Future, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Election, Wild at Heart, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original), Welcome to Collinwood, the Gift, Creepshow, Psycho, Harold and Maude, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Empire Records, The Virgin Suicides, American Splendor, Help!, The Big Lebowski, Mystery Men, Blue Velvet, Every Harry Potter ever-ever-ever, Basket Case, They Live, Escape From New York, Happy, Texas. Talkies, if you will.

Television:

While I own a television, I refuse to subscribe to what is commonly refered to as "cable" and am too lazy to see if I get any basic channels. I do, however, miss the following: The Simpsons, Degrassi, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Sport's Center's baseball highlights, some programing on Comedy Central, and of course, the news. Because I need something else to scare the bejesus out of me aside from work.

Books:

READ A BOOK, READ A BOOK, READ A MOTHERF*CKIN' BOOK!
