I'd like to meet:
george harrison, bob dylan
Music:
Simplicity, Radiohead, Ween, Wilco, Dylan, DCarlo, Paul Simon, The Beatles, Fiona Apple, Grateful Dead, Prince, Miles Davis, Hot Club of Detroit, Hogan Says, Beck, Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, McGraw, Jeff Buckley. Depends what mood I'm in, I'll listen to almost anything.
Movies:
I'm a huge critic. There are some great movies out there. Match Point, Breathless, Karate Kid 1+2, Shawshank Redemption, all of Wes Anderson and Stanley Kubrick's movies, several of Quentin Tarantino's movies (though I would love to kick his egotistical dick in), Alfred Hitchcock, and David Lynch's movies, Chinatown, Dawn of the Dead (both), Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, Wet Hot American Summer, Falling Down, Adaptation, Being John Malkovich, Apocalypse Now, MAGNOLIA (tom cruise's only great movie), Taxi Driver, Scarface, Godfather, Goodfellas, Saving Private Ryan, No Direction Home, Meeting People is Easy, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart,
Television:
Curb Your Enthusiasm and South Park are the best shows on TV, and I watch them religiously. It drops off hard after that, I don't mind watching Jeopardy! and Shark Week when it comes up, and for some reason keep watching that totally unrealistic stupid show Entourage. There's really nothing else, except the occasional Seinfeld rerun.
Books:
read 'em! I've had a lot of trouble finishing books lately, even by authors I really like. Last 10 books I started I didn't finish. They were:The Illuminatus Trilogy Kingdom of Fear Journey to the End of the Night The Art of Dreaming MotherNight Rule of the Bone The Alchemist Bob Dylan Intimate Biography The Divine Comedy Living with the Dead
Heroes:
Steve Yzerman is obviously number one. Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo. George Harrison. Jerry Garcia. Bob Dylan. Hunter Thompson. Tienemen Square guy. Noam Chomsky. Ben Franklin. Henrik Zetterberg. My parents are pretty great too, but I don't know if heroes is quite right.
