Formed in late 2007 by childhood friends Liv and Suzie, MISSUSE is
the sound of four feisty females from Oxford Birmingham and Essex
colliding with a shared passion for playing kickass music - without
the bullshit!
United by a desire to fight back against a music scene
drowning in mediocre indie pretention, this four-piece female musical
force have set out to make the music industry stand up and pay
attention, and to prove that girls certainly can play guitars!
Influenced by everything from Motorhead to Radiohead and Nine Inch
Nails to Nirvana, the band's diverse individual musical backgrounds
span blues to Hip-hop and metal to electronica, yet somehow defies
falling easily into any musical categoriy.
Vicky, Fidan, Suzie & Liv
set out to create a sound that combines the balls of classic rock with
the rawness of grunge and a punk attitude, and provides a kick in the
teeth to the middle of the road crap that has been numbing our ears
for so long.
This is not your average girl band, nor is it what you expected.
