I was born and raised in the breathtaking and serene region known as the Pacific Northwest (Gig Harbor, WA). Since graduating from high school I have moved inland to the beautiful state of Colorado and have remained here for the past 9 years. I came for the mountains and the snow and it hasn't let me down yet. I can wholeheartedly say that I've lived in some of the most awesome places in the US--maybe the world. I met my husband working on my undergrad at Western State College of Colorado (Gunnison)and we later bought a house here in Durango (the beautiful 4-corners area) with our pup named Reverend. I love to ski, hike, float the river, go to shows, talk about music, get tattooed, listen to music, read, and get rowdy with my friends. Working part-time at our local record shop (most fun job ever) while I intern with the Family Advocate from Advocacy for La Plata. I hold a Masters of Clinical Social Work (well almost, after this internship)--I live my life to help others in finding their fullest potential (myself as well). Oh, and I love PBR, Chuck Berry and guitar riffs that can break bones...
