hold to the love that you know, you don't have to give up to let go

About Me

.. I'm just a girl.
It would be nice if my art could be my occupation.
I love my boyfriend and my cats very much.
Someday I would like to travel the world.
I really dislike proprietorial music snobs. (What difference does it make when I became a fan as long as I love the music?)
I feel all art has merit.
Sometimes it OK to just want to shake your humps.
I am trying to teach myself to speak Japanese but it is hard; not because the language is difficult, but maintaining the discipline is.
I would like to learn more about paganism.
I am polytheistic.
I like to clip coupons and watch Saturday morning cartoons.
I lost over 100 pounds and kept it off, I have 70 more to go. (update 03/23/2008 - I gained a lot of the weight back. I feel terrible about it, but I blame it on the anti-depressants mostly. But I will do better, and I will lose the weight again - I promise!)
I play Dance Dance Revolution for fun and fitness.
I think Guitar Hero is kick-ass.
I am troubled by the current political situation in our country and the fanatics who are running it.
I am against the war in Iraq.
I was for the invasion of Afghanistan.
The existance of Paris Hilton is proof positive that money does not equal class. Ditto for Britany Spears.
I hope my art is meaningful.
I enjoy lighting candles and watching the flames dance.
I have a Barbie collection, and thus will most likely burn in Hell for indirectly supporting Chinese sweatshops, amongst other things.
I like cheesy easy-listening music from the 70's - it makes me feel innocent again and I miss that feeling.
I enjoy collecting semi precious gemstones.
I hope I am a good person.
I can't think of anything else right now.

One of the few things in life that helped make me sane is being able hold Sean.  When I can't stop crying and all I want to do is crawl under a rock and die I could always counting on being able ...

Mr. Humphries no longer serves, John Inman dies at 71

I don't usually go a big wet one over dead celebrities, but when I heard today that John Inman had passed away I was very sad.  For those of you who are not aware, John Inman most famously (and t...
