About Me

Im a huge music junkie. I kinda run the gambit from alt country, bluegrass & blues to jazz, ska, rockabilly, psychobilly, old rap, and down and dirty rock n fn' roll. Basically I will listen to anything once but if it doesn't get me going...its going out the window. I tend to keep the truck in the left lane and the radio dial turned to the left as well. Too many sleepless nights spent on public/college radio stations & in the cab of a truck will do that to you, I guess.
I moved to this area from St Louis back in 2002 and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to catch nearly as much live music as I was accustomed to. For the first couple of years that was the case. If I wanted to see a show I had to drive to Wichita, Tulsa or OKC to see a show. I got so sick of it that I bought the rights to my web site and tried to share and promote the bands that I knew about with the fine people of Oklahoma. Unfortunately it just took too much of my time and when I went back to full time work after college I let it lapse.
For a while in early 07 I was bouncin' at a local country and rock club so that helped me see live music again. Then I broke my foot and that went out the window too. I dont catch nearly the ammount of shows that I should but I do get out on occasion. Most of the stuff round here is local and semi regonal but damnit...these Okie boys can pick.
And people have the balls to ask why I seem so angry all the time.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet Merle Haggard, Tom Waits and Dita Von Tease in a dirty, hole in the wall bar on the south side of Saint Louis. Meeting Eddie Spaghetti, Ice Cube & Lemmy in the smoking section of a high rollers room in Vegas, ne an indian casino here in OK would probably rank right up there as well. They would be so enamared with me that I could talk them into letting me produce their next albums. Hey, a boy can dream cant he????

But since that will most likely never happen some interesting and intelligent people would be a nice change. Book learnin's a plus but not required as long as you do know how to read.

Well Im grandparentless....

Gerldine Jefferis, my last grandparent, lost her battle this morining aroud 7:15. Johnny, Adam, and Paul were able to be by her side as she passed. She is in a better place now.
