CAFE ECLECTIC's double storefront is a refreshing haven on bustling Bloomfield Avenue. Hosting simple cafe tables and a coffee and dessert bar. The vibe here is cool and unfussy, so it's almost impossible to resist the urge to get comfy in the lounge. The name best describes the diversity of offerings at this funky spot: Colombian coffee, a karaoke night, a killer Cuban Sandwich and sinful Brownie melt special. Students with no money relax on couches next to antique shoppers in frenzied lunch-mode. It's easy to stay here longer than expected, so concentrate on the drink and dinner menus, which promise icy concoctions like the iced after-dinner mint coffee or melted goodness like vanilla chai or apple caramel a la mode.
