I was a child in the 50's and a teenager in the 60's. My friends tell me I remember too much about the 60's, so I truly didn't experience the 60's...need I say more. Anyway, I loved to go barefoot and lived in my fadded Levis 501 button up jeans. Oh yes, I lived in San Franciso for a short time and had flowers in my hair; but worked for a large insurance company in the financial district....not Height Ashbury. One summer I worked my way down the Grand Canyon by being a cook's helper cooking out of Dutch ovens for 55 people...it was great. I learned to drink beer in Steamboat Springs Colorado in a bar that had saddles for seats; but don't care for beer much...I prefer a good wine these days.I'm the wife of a police officer,an Army mom, and a Marine mom-in-law. I have four children, two of my own and two stepchildren. I have two son's named Christopher and two daughters Jenni and Kelly. Two beautiful grandchildren, Ashley & Austin and a gorgeous daughter-in-law, Erika. I'm a sister to two brothers and one sister An aunt to four nephews (Bryan,Warren,Trever & Eric) and three nieces(Linnea,Krysta & Kylie).
I love my family and try to always put them first. I love the ocean and mountains. I loved camping in Yosemite as a child and remember the firefalls. My favorite trees are Redwoods, Aspens,and Red Maples. I enjoy camping and hiking, and horse backriding(when I can get up the nerve). Five star hotels are GREAT and my favorite hotel is the "Broadmore" in Colorado Springs-Colorado and the "Hotel Del Coronado" in Southern California coming in second. I love the Missions of California.We live in Escalon, California and currently own one Peruvian Paso horse and are looking for another. I have a Scottish Terrier named Conner, and a Jack Russell Terrier named Buddy. I love horses, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, and wolves!
