Band Members: Nelsen Grover (1980) is a Dutch producer and DJ who is recognizable for his raw and catchy bassleads with striking chord progressions. In both his productions and DJ sets he blends underground with mainstream elements of various genres, such as indie dance, progressive, nu disco and electronica.

production

In 2007 Nelsen Grover released 'Running'. This was his debut as producer after several years of DJing. It resulted in very positive reviews by artists like Mason ("very strong anthem"), Don Diablo ("fresh, but still a little dirty") and Isis ("warm, energetic and ecstatic"). After hitting the online sales charts, ultimately the track got featured on BBC Radio 1's Essential mix. Tracks on following releases like 'Obsessive', 'Dust' and 'Gone' helped to establish Nelsen's characteristic sound. As a remixer Nelsen is praised for his ability to truly add a new dimension to original tracks. His remixes from the Kaiser Chiefs track 'Love's Not a Competition', Estelle's 'American Boy' and Sharam Jey's classic '4 Da Loverz' are very popular among DJ's and have been getting airplay as well.

DJing

Nelsen prefers mixing at a fast pace and is able to do this in a smooth way by playing custom made edits only. This gives a subtle but unique - high energy - twist to his DJ sets. He has a clear idea about what he doesn’t like in music. His DJ sets contain "NO anonymous noise & NO ongoing beats". Nelsen has been DJing mostly throughout The Netherlands at various venues, such as Tivoli, Doornroosje, Studio 80, De Winkel van Sinkel, Ocean Diva and De Rechter. Nelsen has been resident DJ at the 'Verse Stroom' parties and played at various radio shows, including 'Electronation Radio' on Kink FM and the renowned show 'Tiësto's Club Life' on Radio 538.
