THANOULI JON ROTH

Hello! My name is Thanos. Cry me a scream and I'll tell you which note it was :P.I like jazz(and jazziki). I've been playing the piano since I was 4. I've also taken my time with the guitar, the bass, the drums(just a little) and the clarinet(Gypsy and dance stuff:P). I'm currently looking for fellow musicians to jam with... Although it's quite difficult to find musicians here in Athens, especially reasonable and talented at the same time, I had the luck to jam with plenty musicians, some of which were serious ones. I'm still in search of a ballsy bassist though!!!:P I study informatics as well in the university of Athens(greek universities=odd cats for whoever understands!). When I'm finished with it, I want to go abroad and study music in a good university. I've also admired rock musicians(mostly the classic ones) such as Jimi Hendrix (god), Uli Jon Roth (my favourite human rock guitarist), Jeff Beck, Jon Lord, Ken Kensley, John Entwistle, Noel Redding, Geezer Butler, Mitch Mitchell, John Bonham and others and I've participated and currently participate in a couple of rock bands....My favourite rock band is King Crimson, the first 2 line-ups, and I've always liked progressive and psychedelic music, from krautrock to metal(but not rave:P). An important moment in my life was playing in a gig with David Cross(ex-King Crimson) who is one of the most innovative violonists I've ever heard, Hugh Hopper (the bassist of Soft Machine) and Chris Stassinopoulos' Explorers band.
