Born December 21, 1977 in Melbourne, Australia (his family comes from Wales and England), the youngest of three children (he has two older brothers), Toby entered the school of rock most likely before he could talk. His older brothers, big time rock and roll fans, exposed him to all kinds of groups, singers, guitarists who would, and did, influence the young man to enter the passion and profession he so excels at today--music.Extra serious about that music, Toby ditched his University studies once he realized school wasn't the answer and singing was. He became lead singer for the Melbourne rock group Juke Kartel and has enjoyed the success of writing tunes that have not only energized audiences but been used on surf videos and promotional CDs. Fronting the attention-getting band (and getting a lot of the attention), Toby's rock outfit has also opened for acts as illustrious as Nickelback, and gigs as big as the Taste of Chaos Tour.His favorite bands include: U2, Jeff Buckley, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Cog, Shihad, Jimmy Eat World, The Music, Led Zepplin, INXS, Midnight Oil, Crowded House, Bodyjar, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, Faith No More, and Eskimo Joe.Among his favorite hobbies are surfing and snowboarding.
