Once again Captain Schlaut, Captain Ron and Captain Tom will take you on a journey into the depths of Lake Shasta for a show down of the west coast's finest live acts and DJs.
This event is a fine example of what the combination of great friends, music, location, and aquatic sports can bring when sailing the Shake Lasta Seas. This year we will have 4 nights of music covering Psytrance, Industrial, Breaks, Electro, Glitch, Glitch/hop, Downtempo, Yacht Rock, Viking Anthems, and all else our lovely DJ's decide to bring.
This is a community event where we collectively do our best to create the most beautiful surroundings possible. From meals, music and themed events, to the simple things like keeping our community clean.
Again this year we will feature 3 boats, and 4 nights of music and mayhem for all to enjoy. The boats will be decided once i am able to get an accurate roll call. So let me know you are down so i can make it happen.
For those who have yet to experience the Shake Lasta experience, it's kind of like this...
The event was created in an effort to align the various talents of those involved in the psychedelic music community throughout the west coast. Three boats set sail Thursday (10/1) morning and return Monday (10/5) morning. We sail the beautiful Shasta Seas in search of which cove we decide to call our own. Then we transform the boats and land around us into our own private Oasis in which we set up a sound system, food, drink, deco, and anything one has to offer to the experience.
This will be the 8th year running and there are no signs of stopping. The experiences shared on these boats are one of a kind and leave many deep memories.
Additionally, the lake is rain fed, which means its warmer year round.
