SOLIDARITY DEFENSE ACTION

About Me

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!
The Solidarity Defense Action is the product of a rift in the flow of society. We arise from those who know freedom only in the lines of text, as it fails to be actualized, realized or felt. We are the power of the people; demanding justice and fighting for equality. We are the collective mass that will unravel each persecutor, dissect every institution, challenge the hierarchical bodies that be & eventually consume those who stand in the way of freedom. The subjugation we face is not so easy to distinguish in this present day. Behind every law, every measure, every inch of economic success and systematic progression are the remains of our people and the demise of the rest. There is no democracy, no liberalism, no true equality among these forces. We must understand that behind the facade of equality an inconceivable danger resides. It is a force that is strengthened with every policy created in “our“ favor, permitting the proliferation of a new breed of discrimination, greater than many of us can conceive. To fail to recognize the tacit struggles among us & ignore those who persist in vain, fighting for mere survival is to endorse this persecution. We must take action against all forms of discrimination & oppression and be quick to notice when our people are in need. In solidarity & struggle, The Solidarity Defense Action...
“If a man is a fool, you don't train him out of being a fool by sending him to university. You merely turn him into a trained fool, ten times more dangerous.” - Desmond Bagley
"There are few earthly things more beautiful than a university a place where those who hate ignorance may strive to know, where those who perceive truth may strive to make others see." - Masefield

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

ATTENTION!!!

Massive day of Action & Week of Solidarity planned at the University of Oregon in response to the BLATANT DISCRIMINATION & prejudice at the campus & administrative levels. Students have been repeatedly physically and verbally assaulted on campus for the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, & their disabilities. The administration has failed to address the climate that has made these attacks possible, or to prosecute the assailants. FACULTY DISCRIMINATION has been permitted as well; in the past year alone, 10 professors of color have left in response to these issues.

SILENCE = DEATH

To remain apathetic & stand by while knowing that others are in danger & receiving differential treatment is to CONDONE this treatment.

The SOLIDARITY DEFENSE ACTION (SDA) is planning this action in order to make it clear that: Discrimination will not be tolerated, in any form, in this community or within this institution; & the running theme of this week of action is:

IF SAFETY IN EDUCATION IS NOT GUARANTEED FOR ALL STUDENTS & FACULTY, THEN WE WILL BOYCOTT YOUR INSTITUTIONS!

THE DAY OF ACTION TO BE ANNOUNCED!! SPREAD THE WORD!:
