Ren

Let me introduce myself... my name is Lorren, as in Sofia Loren, but with two 'R's. This is how my mother would introduce me to anyone new as my name is too odd to remember when you first hear it or read it (despite the fact that my name is actually spelt the way it sounds I am still called Lauren which has always astounded me!).The confusion about my name continued on into my teenage years where 'Ren' was birthed, and yes it was inspired by the hit show at the time 'Ren and Stimpy' but that is another story.However a new problem now arose. Me trying to mend the gulf that exists between those who only know me as Ren (and think my name something else like Renee) and those who only know me as Lorren (who think I have no nick name).
