Rob Barr came from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and has been involved with music since he was 12 years old. His Brother John was a well know local guitarist and convinced Rob to pick up the bass guitar. The bass came naturally to Rob, and within 3 years Rob began writing songs with John. Soon after, Rob began his career as a singer songwriter. As time went on, Rob began playing with other musicians and eventually formed the band Wally.During Wally's 5 years together, they put out one album on their own record label called Yucco Records. The Album "Standing in the Yellow" was a local success and led to opening gigs with The Bloodhound Gang, Jill Sobule, Nerd Herder, and many more. It was the departure of Wally's sixth drummer that finally caused the band to split in 1999. After the breakup, Rob set out writing on his own and playing small shows thoughout the Chicago land area.In 2003 Rob moved to Southern California and has been writing and playing muisc at clubs like The Viper Room, The Derby, and The Stone. Currently, Rob is working on his new album that is scheduled for release later this year. Rob is also writing and recording songs with Rick Reyes in a side project called suite 140. music layout @ http://www.freeuniquelayouts.com/ - Movie Layouts - Music Layouts - More MySpace Layouts! - MySpace Tools
