His first visit to Jamaica in 1995 stimulated and fueled his creativity and resulted in writing now a MOOMIN classic, quintessential reggae ballad, “Moonlight Dancehallâ€. The song become a huge hit in clubs across the nation and is like an anthem among club-goers and reggae lovers. “Moonlight〜†7 inch was also on the best seller list of “El Paso†record shop in Montego Bay. In 1996 he appeared on “Reggae Super Bash†concert held in Japan with among reggae giants such as Bounty Killer, Sanchez, Sparaga Benz and others.
He signed with Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) and released his first major label single “FLY AGAIN†in 1997. His sweet and high-toned voice and beautiful and catchy melodies quickly captured hearts of listeners. He has 9 albums under his belt, all met with both critical and public acclaim. His 3rd and 4th albums performed selling over 100,000 copies each. He has appeared (with reggae singer Miki Dozan) in Tower Records “No music no life†campaign posters in the summer of 2001.
He is one of the most popular reggae singers in Japan and maintains a busy live performance schedule all the year round.
