Blonde Bazaar

About Me

The hands of fate have been brewing a storm, a storm so powerful that when it hits its impact will be great, and the world and life, as we know it will be changed forever. This storm, this well-oiled machine, is a band of souls that many will come to know as Blonde Bazaar. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes of a nuclear holocaust, Blonde Bazaar has Conquered countless obstacles and has prevailed, growing stronger and more powerful with each passing moment. For the past 2 years this storm has been evolving, adapting, and gaining momentum. All in preparation for the day when the skies open and its wrath pours down from the heavens…

Few bands bring a level of blood, sweat, and determination to the stage quite so much as Blonde Bazaar. This female-fronted four piece will somehow manage flying guitars, back flips, and contortions of all sorts--all while maintaining exact musical precision. Blonde Bazaar captivates, keeping the audience on their toes and held by their heartstrings.

The Blonde Bazaar sound has been described as experimental, progressive pop, post-punk, dance, no-wave, and any other number of the things, but the one thing it is not is boring. With haunting vocals that penetrate the soul, bass lines that guide the rhythmic patterns of bloodflow, Guitar riffs that euphorically electrify every nerve, and drums that set the body in motion, this sound is addictively infectious. As one fan put it, it can be decribed as “Cerebral, sexual and fun.”

They have recently, and with great pride, self published their first full length album, “The Enlightenment”, which was met with excellent reviews. The 14-song album shows the band’s strong musical diversity- hinting at influences from Thrice, The Mars Volta, At the Drive In, and King Crimson, to No Doubt and The Faint.

The band has worked tirelessly for the past 12 months, many times putting on 3 shows a week. They have entertained audiences at clubs of all sorts including The Roxy Theatre, Club Spaceland, The Knitting Factory, The Silverlake Lounge, The Smell, The Viper Room, The Key Club, Chain Reaction, and the Glass House.
