Team Side Tracked (Nate FX and The Snowman) was recently born by necessity to take over Saturday nights at The Dame. The term "Team Side Tracked" was coined by our Scottish DJ friend, Iain Macpherson, who noticed that we were always sidetracked from the task at hand by drinking beer. The three of us also noticed that we all wore track jackets, hence the "team" uniform. As residents, we DJ every Saturday night after the bands finish. We are not traditional DJs though; we use computer software and digital controllers to barrage the sound system with an arsenal of MP3s. A Team Side Tracked set may consist of house, 80s, Brit pop, hip-hop, electro and maybe even bluegrass. With over 300 gigs of music, you never know what we will play. Our DJ sets are extremely versatile and can lead in any direction for any duration. One thing is for certain Team Side Tracked will rock your face!
Since Nate FX is a full promotions company, the marketing machine is behind Team Side Tracked 100%. An assortment of buttons, stickers, clothing, posters and flyers have assisted in making Team Side Tracked a popular entertainment act in Lexington. Nate FX intends to continue creating and executing new forms of products to promote Team Side Tracked in all future gigs. The team has already developed a massive fan base, so doing so can only increase their popularity. This marketing has brought them gigs in Louisville at The Derby as well as opening for dozens of national headlining acts.
Music Styles include 80s, 90s, soul, funk, house, hip-hop, Brit pop, electro, dance rock, rock and roll, industrial, down tempo, reggae, acid jazz, bluegrass and classic country. Team Side Tracked also plays albums up to three months prior to hitting store shelves and white label remixes that are never released to the public making their DJ sets even more unique.
