This Is MyTea Records

Mytea records was founded in 2006 by Jonny Wharton (aka Jonny Falls Over) and Ant Frisby (aka Tony). It is a new concept of a recording label based on being for the artists, by the artists and of the artists and thus eliminating the myriad structures of the recording industry which have previously hindered the progression of so many creative souls.

With the advent of digital recording and downloadable media, the hierarchy of recording, publishing, distribution and songwriting is merged into one whereby the artist can interact directly with their audience without navigating the barriers that previously existed for them.

We aim not to be constrained by genre or style but to judge all music as it comes based solely on its individual quality.
