Efecto Quimera

El proyecto da su inicio en mayo del 2004 teniendo como objetivo ser una banda de música propia y de un estilo original.Efecto Quimera somos: Omar Avendaño (Voz, Guitarra), Rigo Mendoza (Voz, Teclados), Esteban Cano (Batería) e Ivan Saucedo (Bajo, coros). Nuestro estilo se basa en la fusión, fusión de diferentes ritmos con el rock, tales como: funk, punk, ska, jazz, raegge, shuffle, pop, bolero, tango, etc., Además de fusionar ideas, experiencias, países (Costa Rica/México), y sobretodo talentos, es por eso que identificamos ese estilo en la Quimera, un ser mitológico que tenia cuerpo de león, la cola de serpiente, una cabeza de cabra en el lomo y que escupía fuego por la boca, representando la fusión, también la palabra Quimera se considera como un sueño, una utopía, algo que de momento solo existe en la imaginación de quien lo cree. Efecto Quimera, significa precisamente eso, la fusión y el reflejo de los sueños de quienes creemos en este proyecto. Actualmente promovemos nuestro primer material discográfico (EP) "Llenando Huecos." ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------- IN ENGLISH The proyect starts in may 2004 having as a main purpose to be a band dedicated to compose and create music with a very particular style. Efecto Quimera is: Omar Avendaño (Voice, Lead Guitar), Rigo Mendoza (Voice, Keyboards), Esteban Cano (Drums), Ivan Saucedo (Bass, Chorus). Our style is based in the fusion of diferent rithms like funk, punk, ska, jazz, raegge, shuffle, pop, bolero, tango, etc,,, with rock music.,.,., Also the fusion of ideas, experiences, countries (Costa Rica/Mexico), and the most important ,,,, Talent. That is why we identify our style in the Chimaera Fire-breathing monster slain by the hero Bellerophon; related to Cerberus and the Hydra. The Chimaera was part lion, part goat and part snake, although accounts differed as to how these parts were assembled. King Iobates of Lycia sent Bellerophon after the beast in the expectation that the hero would never return. But with the help of the gods and the flying horse Pegasus, Bellerophon rid Lycia of its multiple monster. wich for us represents the fusion, also the word means, a dream, an utopia, something that only exists in the mind of those who believe. Efecto Quimera means the fusion and the reflection of the dreams of every person who believes in the proyect. Right now we are promoting our first record, an EP called "Llenando Huecos".
