I recently discovered a the religon I've been looking for for a long time: The Baha'i Faith. I'm working on learning everything I can about it so that I can be one with the Baha'i community. As the second most widespread religion in the world, it fills my heart with great hope for humanity.
I'm a behind-the-scenes kind of person and a bit of a feminist. I enjoy being a healer most in WoW, I was on crew/orchestra in HS drama, and I enjoyed playing goalie most in hockey. I'm usually for the underdog...I would've rolled Horde if they would've had Paladins when I started playing. Hayao Miyazaki's films mean a lot to me because of their strong female roles and environmental consciousness.
I don't agree with most "American" values, particularly the accumulation of wealth. Since Barack Obama was elected, I am becoming less ashamed of my fellow Americans. I don't think most people understand what the Second Ammendment is really about, especially the biggest proponents of it.
I believe in the Gandhist/Hindu/Jainist concepts of Ahimsa(non-violence), Satya(Truth), and Bramacharya(celibacy)(<--in theory). I'm not a strict vegetarian, as my food budget doesn't allow for it, but I don't believe that we should have to grow food to feed our food.

I'm an audio engineer, I'm the house soundguy at Byrne's Pub. You can probably catch me on Friday-if you're brave, it's bluegrass- and Saturday(irish stuff) nights sitting FOH. I play guitar and mandolin, along with many other instruments. I made my profile myself.
