Good For The Soul

Since the formation in 2003 Good for the Soul have played numerous guest spots throughout the UK and Europe. Based in Manchester England they have played extensively in and around the North West, venues including: J2 Club, Emporia, Lime, Label, Barca, TheBar, Cord, Atlas, Zumbea, Siberia, Rossetti, Arch9, Babushka, Tiger Tiger, KRO, Gaia and Prohibition.
They are currently weekly residents at a friday night called Boogaloo which is held at the 600 capacity venue Label (www.iloveboogaloo.co.uk) and also at Funkademia every Saturday at the 500 capacity One Central Street (www.funkademia.net) - both are located in Manchester city centre. Regular guest spots are also held at Lime bar and Player Bar.
In addition to these resedencies they promote their own nights at venues and hold two very successful students nights called Spank and Funk Me.
A high profile NYE 2005 with WKD and Selfridges saw good for the soul welcome in the new year in style with Galaxy FMs The Slammin Boys and Manchester deep house promoters Stylus, a sell out party of 800 people was held at Manchesters Barca. NYE 2006 with Corona and Ted Baker followed with a sell out 600 capacity Boogaloo party at Label. Good for the soul were joined on the night by The Slammin Boys, Dave Redsoul Wareing and Fuzzy Logic's Rick Napier.
When promoting their own nights Good for the Soul have involved exclusive sponsorship partners including WKD, Ted Baker, Corona, Bicardi B Bar & Selfridges, they have also utilised their vast contacts with the press & Media for write up & competitions online, in print and on-air.
