About Me

Nothing too exciting to report. I just changed my major (and for those of you who know me I'm sure this comes at no surprise seeing my decisive nature) to a Medical Technologist. As awesome as that sounds, I know, there's something even better! Hopefully it leads to a career in medical writing, which is basically writing research papers. Ah, the joys of actually being a freelance writer are closer. Might actually stick with this, major number 5 I think. Other than that, still working, still living (in a totally fabulous white trailor trash version), and working on getting better at staying in contact with people. I'm horrible in that aspect and there are so many people I have miss; you're probably one of them. So please say hi.

My Interests

Uh...I don't know. Perhaps if I did I would be doing something more entertaining than this profile. I just try to enjoy life and the people around me as much as possible, which means sometimes you need to alter your perceptions... :)

I'd like to meet:

Anyone outside of Indiana. This state is the worst place anyone could possibly be stuck.

Music:

I will spare the long list, but I will say I hate the radio. I also hate when people buy a CD for just one song. It's an album people...take the hour to sit and listen to it all the way through. Currently, I've been going back through my old music and listening more to the lyrics. I watched this show on IFC with quentin tarrantino (sp??) and fiona apple that got me thinking about the lyrics in music.

Movies:

Watch them all the time...the only reason I have a TV, for the most part. I hate commercials and I hate most TV shows. (Lots o' hate going on...)

Television:

The almighty glowing box... of course I watch. I have recently discovered DVR, which I believe is the greatest invention of late. TV shows without commercials. Oh yeah :)No more renting entire seasons from Blockbuster to see shows.

Books:

Ah, the escape from the rest of the world. Give my anything, I will read it. I recently started reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King (thanks to the boyfriend) and am very much enjoying it. It's just a whole new way to picture the world that I find completely fascinating. Hats off Mr. King. Wish I had that kind of imagination...

Heroes:

Well, you meet them everyday, just keep your eyes open.

My Blog

My very first blog... :)

Hey hey... how awesome is this? A place to throw all my random thoughts without wasting any more paper. Gonna see how this goes. Well, just sitting in the BSU library, should be studying for my calc t...
