So much good psychadelic stuff is the key to good music, mixing, spinning, records or cds, or laptop, producing my own sounds, and exploring new sounds, fun, live music its a passion, no matter what style. Psytrance is definateli one of my favorite styles of music. But, I keep an open mind to different styles of music theres much to be learned. Never say no to a gig.
"IM spoiled, so if i go out to hear other people play, i expect the best, just like i play or better....Its hard to be satisfied, but alot of psytrance does the trick, along with real good breaks and a bit of lounge and ambient. Even thoe most of my friends are into drum and bass, jungle scene, i kinda keep moving with sound..always looking for that perfect beat.Thats why i produce, But in the end that beat is only found in my heart, and as long as i hear it, my art and music, will always have what type of person i am in it. But maybe im crazy, haha...and thats true psytrance...to be continued..for booking contact carlos at

dj carlitoz the maestro is what i go by. I got 12 years in this business . But thats not all. I'm also an artist trying to combine both of my passions together. So when you get Carlitoz the maestro; you get an artist of many trades and a great person who loves the greater things in life. I'm always trying something new with music. Give me anything and I can mix it. Metal to EDM to classical and back. I can spin on cds just as good as any record, and my crew Microwave DJs can take the world on with our laptop skills. Not to mention, I've been trying my hand at producing lately. I can't express enough how much I can offer the human ear. My sound takes you on and into a beautiful, intricate journey, no matter what style, event, or venue. I am willing to devote hours of my life to giving the world flawless mixes. I've already dedicated hours upon hours to practice, and listening to all different types of DJs, musicians, MCs, and producers over the years. There's so many I could name, but I wont. The list would take forever to type, and because I never stop finding new, good music out there; the list would be endless. And to those aspiring DJs, out there... all I can say is; buy a set of turn tables...some good records...cds...and just listen. If I could, I would try to teach everyone the way of the DJ. Ha ha. It's like any other instrument. There are so many techniques and ways to create sounds on them, as well as so many mixing styles. Appreciate a wide variety of good music... that's what it really comes down to... Wide record selection... careful mixing... a passion to read the crowd... great promotion... and an understanding of what will make the people dance The last is something that can only be acquired from direct, hands-on experience. Meaning... just get your ass out there and party. I spent so many years partying all over the East coast, just trying to find that perfect sound, journey, atmosphere, or venue that I could connect deelply with. I would dance for hours and days... meeting some of the craziest and greatest people on the way. The more I'd listen.. and the more DJs I'd see... the more I wanted to be a DJ. Not for the fame, glory, and money... 'cause believe me, that shit ain't easy... but just because I love the music and mixing everything and anything I can get my hands on. It was at 611 Records where my growth took full force. Back in the day there was always a constant stack of cheap records I could add to my collection. And man did it grow. From Breaks and DnB, to House and Techno. Rock and Metal, to Trance and, my loves of all; Psytrance, Dub, Triphop, and ambient. I guess my problem is that I really love all the styles. People always telling me to stick with one style... but that's not me. I love it all. After awhile I got sick of all the drama going on in scenes... I stopped allowing myself to be associate with any one scene, so as to avoid the bullshit. That's something that most people don't do. It makes me wonder if they really love the music... if they honestly appreciate the great producers... ...But everyone grows... I'm 28 years old, and I realize great music has the power to bring all people from all different backgrounds together. That alone can change lives. To me, it's important to have something like that in your life. It's my motivation for what I do. I want to bring all the great musical styles, arts, and people together. They belong together. The same rule that applies to people applies to music. We shouldn't keep them separated. No one style, race, or anything else is better than the next. Not Rock or Metal. Hardcore, Gabber, or Electro. ...so keep listening and learning ...I still have just begun ...much love, Carlitoz the maestro, on tribe, facebook and yahoo... For bookings: email me at
