I am a recent graduate of USM with a degree in History with an Anthropology minor. I plan to start Grad school next Summer with my goal of becoming an archaeologist. Starting a new job in the field to get a little experience. I will specialize in the Native cultures that thrived along the Mississippi River and the South East.
I like to call myself an "Outstorian". It's not HIStory or HERstory, but rather OURstory.
I have been very active in the State Pagan Community now for about 5 years. Before then I didn't know that there even WAS a community, even though I have been in the Craft since 1980. I am an eclectic Wiccan and diffently "out of the broom closet"!!!
One version of The Charge of the God goes like this:
I, who am the glory of the Sun and the Lord of
the dance, the ripe grain that is reaped and the seed
which is sown, I call to you with the cry of a babe
and the horn of the hunter. I am the soul of mankind,
born to learn, live, love, die and be reborn. Drink of
My vine, the blood of life, and lift a glass to My
holy laughter echoing across the hills. But know that
I am both harvester and harvest, the sacrificed One of
sword and sickle who descends into the womb of
the Mother where all souls go to be reborn. For in
this I reveal My mystery: that My dance is yours, My
path is yours, and My laughter leads the way to the
Summerland. For I am you and you are Me. And My light
is with you always, to lead you through the shadows
and back again.
We, the Pagan men are the counter balance to the energi of the Women, Yin to Yang. Without one, the other is flawed, a puzzle with missing pieces, a Tower without a foundation. But with our energi blended together we can do wonderous things. For together, the male and the female, we make a mystical whole. This is magick.
The following comes from one of those e-Group surveys that you get asked to fill out when joining, but I think this one will give you a clue as to who I am.
How long have I been studying or interested in Paganism? Since childhood.
What Element do you relate to the best? Aquarius is kinda wierd in that although being an Air sign, it controls water.
Is there a Particular Deity/s you work with? What has Been your Experience with that Diety/s?
My patroness since childhood has been the Greek construct-Goddess "Isis-Luna". Although, I should add that it was years before I learned her name She was originated by the Greeks in an attempt to unify the remains of the empire of Alexander the Great under a single God and Goddess. Her worship was widespread through out the Classic World and eventually formed the basis for the "Cult of Mary". She tends to be confused with, or rather blended into, the older Isis, but Isis-Luna (purposefully) includes many non-Egyption characteristics. Her consort. Serapis has faded into the status of non-entity. The symbol of Male devinity I utilize is Cerrunnos.
What's your favorite Sabbat, Ritual, or Spiritual Practice?
Not sure I have an answer for this one. While individual practice can yeild the most powerful results, I crave group ritual more, where the energi flowing between folks is as sweet as a mountain stream. This is when I most often can attain the state of a mystical experience as it is usually defined.

Favorite Quote?
The Buddha on Belief from the Kalama Sutta:
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe simply because it has been handed down for many generations. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is written in Holy Scriptures. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of Teachers, elders or wise men. Believe only after careful observation and analysis, when you find that it agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all. Then accept it and live up to it."
