Mr Tricky F has been following the UK Garage scene since the mid 90s. The love for the music came from the early 90s with early House music @ an all time high.
In 1996 Tricky started to collect 12" vinyls and it was these early tunes which gave him an interest in mixing. After a few months of working in a convienience store, he managed to save enough money to buy a pair of turntables and a mixer (Numart TM100's and Bluedog Mixer). It was then that he learned how to mix and this became a constant bug.
Aproaching the age of 17, he invested in a pair of silver Technics 1200s and a Pioneer mixer. This made mixing a lot more proffessional.
At around this time clubbing was the highlight of the weekends, with many memorable nights at local clubs, some including...

At the age 17/18 UK Garage was the only music being played at Clubs/Bars/Parties.... it seemed that this genre of music was the one and only.
He formed a 4 man crew in 1998-2002 (DJ Tricky-F, DJ V2, MC Calliba & MC Idol); the infamous Doomsday Squad. He developed the skills to DJ alongside MCs and learned how to coincide with each other's skills.
They successfully gained bookings for house parties & other events.
Unfortunately this bond crumbled when the grime scene took over and so called garage music was seen to be at the end of an era.
Still plodding along over the next few years, Mr Tricky-F was given the opportunity to DJ on London's leading Sub-Jam 104.7FM in april 2006 (Home of UK Garage). This opened the doors to the garage scene. Also in May he was given a show on Top Internet site (www.phatbeats.net), which he did until October '06.
Now seeing garage looking bigger and stronger as ever...we make way for the new era of garage music. With the likes of Duncan Powell, Mj Cole and Delinquent amongst others holding the top of the garage scene, garage music is on the turn....so to all the listeners across the uk and worldwide: keep the scene moving!!!!!!!
