About Me
Brindin Taylor was born in Vineland, NJ and raised in Bridgeton and Englewood, NJ, Now residing in Charlotte, NC. Since birth, I have been in church and started playing the drums for the church at the age of 3. Never took any lessons, but God blessed me with the ability to play by ear and pick up any rhythm with a little bit of practice of course. My father has been blessed with the same ability, he can play the piano by ear as well as teach harmonies to various choirs, Other than that a great ability to preach at the age of 14. My father became the minister of music at the Union Baptist Church in Bridgeton NJ, and was one of the most recognized musicians around. After being very successful in music, he had another goal which was to become a preacher. 8 years after being at Union, he was called to preach at the Community Baptist Church of Englewood NJ, and has been there ever since, successfully. I, through the years of my fathers ministry in the music have been inspired and has played for the church until the present. By the age of 14 I started to learn about production and became very intrested in doing that. Just like my father, by the the same age we both were called to something that really became the greatest asset of our lives. By this age I have worked with alot of artists(local and known) Sunshine Anderson, Gina Thompson, along with my stepfather and has been trained in alot of different programs. Protools, Digital Performer, Reason, and of course the good ol Fruity Loops, I have used the MPC 2000, MPC 2000XL, MPC 4000, and the MPC 60(classic but hot). The keyboards that I have been recognized with are Casio(haha), Yamaha psr129(old), Triton 88 key, and the Motif 7. Through the years of training I have moved to charlotte with his mother and met up with a couple of friends who is now the super group called "Street Shakerz" I have my own production camp called "Suround Sounds,"along with my partner Angel Johnson (Adot), and to this day I continue to persue my music production career, I am currently attending Barton College, Majoring in Audio Recording Tech for Music and Video and will be graduating in 2 years.
