About Me
Wilbur L. Nichols is of the most innovative musical talents of our day. He began his musical journey, like so many others by singing in his local church choir. Once realizing the awesome gift he possessed he wanted to sharpen his skills, and develop his technique. Wilbur was accepted into the Baltimore School of the Performing Arts in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there his gifts and talents were cultivated, and nurtured. After graduation, Wilbur was accepted into Berklee College School of Music, in Boston, Massachusetts. There he studied Jazz Composition. Wilbur's sound is unique to the world of gospel music, but it's captivating audiences everywhere, reaching beyond the church walls. His smooth jazz overtones, and contemporary gospel flavor mix sets him apart. Although Wilbur's style is distinctive, his message of holiness is a lifestyle, and not a tagline. Living godly is his passion, and this message resonance through the lyrics of his songs. He is a young man who refuses to compromise the gospel of Jesus Christ for the rewards of commercial success. In Wilbur's brief career he has worked alongside many musical giants such as John P. Kee, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams Shirley Ceasar, The Clark Sisters, Daryl Coley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Vikki Winnans, Marette Brown- Clark, Kim Burrell, Danny Eason, Lisa Paige- Brooks, Timothy Wright, Will Smith, Lathia Hathaway, Kena Hathaway, Veronica Petrucci, Roy Hargrove, Walter Beasley, Steve Carrington, Carnell Murrell are just a few of the music industry's finest.
