i am for the most part a creative person. except i can't really draw for shit. every once in a while i will create a truly astonishing piece of work that i have no clue where it came from. i would love to be able to draw and paint and all that shit. i was one of the main graphic artists in high school, designing a bunch of logos and the grad tickets and logo and such. it was fun. my major talent though lies in the writers field. i have been told so many times by many different people that my writing is pretty damn good, so now i finally believe them. it really is my forte, and i write in quite a few genres. i've been writing stories and poetry since i was able to. such a long time ago it seems. not too many people have been privy to a lot of my writing though. i have a ton and a half of notebooks filled with my writing. way too many poems. somewhere in the field of 5 or 6 hundred of them, that i can find. so, yeah, a lot. i obviously like to write.
myself. i've always wondered what i'd think of myself if i were to meet myself somehow. sounds crazy i know, but thats me alright. i mean, aren't you interested in how you'd act if you were to meet yourself? what you think of yourself and who you present yourself to be are two totally different concepts. think about it....
social distortion, lacuna coil, celldweller, nine inch nails, johnny cash, metric, the weakerthans, the strokes, marilyn manson, the doors, distillers, hayden, some jewel, garbage, smashing pumpkins, dave matthews, stevie ray vaughan, joni mitchell, neil young, a bunch of oldies, a whole bunch more that i can't think of right now, but you get the point. i'm more into the gothic metal and stuff, but i will listen to other stuff, depending on the mood i'm in.
generally most of the comic books to movies, especially the ones by alan moore, even if he doesn't really want anything to do with them, which i completely understand, but the movies by themselves are still not badly made. (for those of you who don't know, they are from hell, league of extraordinary gentlemen and the recent v for vendetta.) i also liked fight club, amityville horror, a bunch of other horror type movies..... supertroopers, you know...things like that. ghost world. star wars. lord of the rings. old ones. like to watch the classic movie channel.
i don't watch much television, but when i do it's usually something like csi, the simpsons, seinfeld, reruns of married with children, occasionally an episode of house, or some other law and order type show if they have an interesting case on. i used to watch breakfast television when i worked nights, but now i barely ever get to see it.
the belgariad and the mallorean series, five books each, belgarath the sorcerer, and polgara the sorceress by david and leigh eddings. watchmen, v for vendetta, from hell, league of extraordinary gentlemen, saga of the swamp thing, etc (yes, some of them you will recognize as movies....he doesn't particularly like his books being made into movies)true crime stuff, serial killers and the like and the supernatural. the classics. philosophy. sciences.i read a bunch, from all genres. can't stick to just one.
