life is stressful enough as it is without adding your drama into the mix

About Me

over the past year i've learned and lived more then i had in my entire life. this year above all i've learned to trust and love when it hardly seems possible. i've learned that life and relationships be it with your friends, family or love interests can't always be the way that you want them to be, but if you're willing to try, things CAN get better. it's never too late to try again when you whole heartedly want something or someone. second chances exist and sometimes they can be better than the first one. above all i learned that life can be great if you just give it a chance.here are some things you NEED to know about me:-i HATE: hot dogs, the "c" word, bratz dolls, oily hair, barbecue sauce, loud people, crying babies, stupid girls, washing dishes, math, the way mischa barton talks, bug bites, the guy at SF state who chews corn nuts with his mouth open, uncertainty-i love: coca-cola, candy, cake and any other sweet treats, clothes, shopping, converses, superheros, musicals, coloring, texting (all the time), turtles, long conversations, the beach (especially at night), pictures, the smell of wet cement, laughing until i cry, big sunglasses, long scarves, greasy pizza, cold chicken,-i can't: sing at all so don't ask me to, go a day without a coke, censor myself, cook rice, eat mushy bananas, sleep when my feet are hot, make myself not care, tell time Created with mySpace Profile Editor

My Interests

In order to avoid redundancy, i'll tell you what i'm not interested in or rather what i don't like. let's see...i don't like people who think that beer, cigarettes, tatoos, pot, nudity or money can make them cooler. also, i hate it when couples who have been dating no more than a few months decide to proclaim their love on their myspace pages...i get it you're in love BIG FREAKIN' DEAL! i also think it's stupid that people try to reinvent their image in college...i'm sorry to break this to you but if you weren't popular, hot or cool before college it's probably not going to change now. i HATE with an immense passion people who blame their ignorance or poor decisions on their economic or social standings. i don't like closed minded people and i dislike people who can't take a joke. more recently i've decided that i detest people who are completely devoid of emotions and who can't understand that relationships require trust and above all FEELINGS and SENSITIVITY. last, but not least i can't stand people who are threatened by honesty. THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE BITCHES!

I'd like to meet:

I never had a lot of female friends before, but lately i've been hanging out with a bunch of chicks and they're fabulous...I LOVE YOU GIRLS!!! But, my goodness i could use a male opinion every now and then, so i'd love to meet more guys especially if they possess one or more of the following qualities: honesty, a quick wit, the ability to laugh at yourself and/or total hotness because i'm shallow like that haha.

Music:

No Doubt, Mana, Save Ferris, Inspector, Berlin, stevie nicks, genesis (phil collins is a freakin genius), the police, Queen, Earth Wind and Fire, The Temptations, Guns and Roses, Avril Lavigne, anything 80's, all most anything played on retro in the metro, Boys to Men, Julieta Venegas, Ramon Ayala, Vicente Fernandez, Adan Sanchez(yes, i'm a chunty). Basically i like anything with really great beats, cheesy lyrics or bad ass intrumentals with lots of saxophones, trumpets, lol synthesizers and if they're really cool clarinets.

Movies:

Okay, so i'm a total movie buff. i LOVE to watch movies and i can only think of one movie that i REALLY hated and that was Coyote Ugly eh that movie was super shitty. anyway, i LOVE: The Wizard of Oz, The Cutting Edge (Cheesy, but stilll great), Scarface (Pacino at his best), Goodfellas, Get Shorty, Say Anything, Donnie Brasco, Dog Day Afternoon (Al Pacino is so surprising in this one), Sling Blade (Billy Bob is sheer awesomeness), Sixteen Candles, The Little Rascals, A Day Without A Mexican, Ocean's Eleven (Brad Pitt is soooo hot!), Breakfast at Tiffany's (Classic!), Amelie, Garden State, most comic book super hero movies especially the x-men trilogy, movies with surprising endings like the departed or noi albinoi and ANYTHING by Quentin Tarantino

Create Your Own!

Television:

I like a lot of different stuff. lately, i've been really into watching american idol wiht marisa just cause it's hilarious and we laugh at the stupidest shit. I like a whole lot of other shows...some of them are total crap, but sometimes the worst shows are the most entertaining. I really like Gilmore Girls (i know, it's such a chick show), the OC, Project Runway, I Love the 90's (80's, etc) and more crap i can't remember right now.

Books:

so, over the past year i've read for what seems like weeks on end. i honestly don't know where one book begins and the other ends, but somehow i still enjoy the reading process. i think that my favorite book this year would have to be 1984 it's been a few months since i read it and my brain is still completely encompassed by it."The essential act of war is destruction, not necessarily of human lives, but of the product of human labor. War is a way of shattering to pieces, or pouring into the stratosphere, or sinking into the depths of the sea, materials which might otherwise be used to make the masses to comfortable, and hence, in the long run, too intelligent"--George Orwell's 1984. my pal erick sillas, soldier in the US army currently in Iraq

Heroes:

i don't really consider her my hero, but i LOVE Gwen Stefani! Hmmm...this may sound weird, but my 4 year old niece is my hero. why? well, she, in all her innocence manages to bring together my disfunctional family on a daily basis. she makes everyone happy and she doesn't even know she's doing it. aside from that she's a cool person who brings out all the good things in those around her including myself.
