Feeding 20 extremely poor residents of the neighborhood ... Trying to get over 60 children in school ... and doing her best in maintaining order in chaos. This is the everyday life of Hacienda director, Madre Virginia. CDV and our wonderful donors have been providing food, water, utilities, and other daily needs for the orphanage but no funds area left for SCHOOL AND MEDICAL NEEDS! So many Hacienda children need to get to school but 20 kids stay home because they do not have uniforms, books or supplies! For only $150 per child, we can send them to school for the year! Some kids need eye glasses, dental work, vaccinations, and other medical needs but she can not help them because the hospital or clinic will not give her credit. With a gift of $2500 you can provide the medical funds to take care of all of their immediate medical needs, and leave a small cushion for emergencies. 15 teen boys sleep in a small room, some in beds but most on the floor because Madre does not have the funding needed to remodel an unused wing of the orphanage with bathrooms, beds, mattresses, shelving, water heaters and many other dormitory requirements. We hope to raise $10,000 for bathrooms and furniture to change their world.
