Glamour Tronic was first formed back in August of 2008 as a Pop/Rock/Techno band called The National Dance Anthem, by Kelly Matthews (vocals), J.J. Keo (programming), and Chris Markle (live drums). Since then, The National Dance Anthem has diffused, months were taken off, now Glamour Tronic has taken the reigns. Glamour Tronic was officially formed in June of 2009, with Kelly Matthews continuing the vocal duities, and Nick Terrified joining in on live Bass guitar. Since the formation, Glamour Tronic has since written and continues to record a full-length album, along with a full-length album of their own take on popular songs of the 1990's/2000's entitled "Under The Covers". Their cover of "Lovegame" (originally made popular by Lady Gaga) is featured on The March For March Foundation's release "Gone Gaga for GaGa - A Tribute To Lady GaGa" which they share with 12 other bands, promoting charity by donating all proceeds to a certain cause.
In September 2009, former intern at Jive Records, Bryan Reynolds got wind of the band before the general public had access. Shortly after hearing rough demos of the EP, he signed them to Something For The Night Records; an independent record label from Queens, New York formed by Bryan & his wife Karen.
For months Glamour Tronic stayed "in hiding" and promoted in a more modern way, asking the question "What is GT?". After covering the internet world on MySpace, Twitter, SayNow, and AIM, they took to the streets, wearing "What is GT?" shirts, posting flyers everywhere, and even promotion through billboards (with the help of Bryan) in key cities. "What is GT?" took over with Contests, Fan Interaction, Hints of the Week, ranging from California, as far east as New York City, as well as in Europe. Finally after months of waiting, guessing, and pleading, Glamour Tronic has arrived as a driving force in the Electronica/Pop scene.

Their first single "The Eyes of a Killer" is a hard-hitting anthem of how love can affect one's clear, rational way of thinking. Following the release on October 23rd, 2009, their second single "State of Love" as well as "Lovegame" will be available for free download on their website, in November.
