The arts, in particular. Animation and cartoons. (Drawing, watching, reading about the historic development of the craft). Theatre again (after a long lapse. I'll take up golf again soon, perhaps!). Traveling to places new. Meeting new people. European history (miss OLD buildings). Snuggling with my kitties.
Positive, enlightened, caring people that enjoy sharing their precious time with others rather than exploiting the world around us.

I'm a prolific reader, but I currently read mostly on the Internet (The London Times, The Economist, in particular). I read a lot of novels in my youth (sometimes through the night!). James Herbert (Britain's Stephen King) was a particular favorite of mine. There was a period of my life (late teens/early 20's) when I read a LOT self-help, psychoanalysis type books. They assisted me in developing my awareness of whom I am and what makes the world function around me. I recall once borrowing a book from the library, entitled Amnesia. When it was time for me to return it, I had forgotten where I had placed it. Hunted high and low for it. True story. :o)
My mother and grandmother. Very caring people. LOVE them.
