That record-breaking band boom that occurred in the late 80’s is still being passed down from generation to generation…
An Indies band that gathered 5000 fans at Harajuku’s Hokousha Tengoku(Pedestrian Heaven) caused great panic to the point that the riot squad went into action. That following day this incident was exclusively covered in the city section of the newspaper.
A rock band that broke the rules of the businesslike world by exceeding top idols and adorning the cover of a popular idol magazine.
At the John Lennon 10th Anniversary mourning event held at the Tokyo Dome this band that recently arrived on the scene at that time boldly co-starred with famous entertainers such as Lenny Kravitz, Sean Lennon, and Yoko Ono.
And so on…
It is said that these legends mentioned above are but a few of the many legends AURA had made during the biggest booms of the past. Naturally, I’m sure you understand that they were a pioneer like existence at that time.
In 2006,「The Live Station」(their starting spot) had a 20th anniversary event, this lead to their unexpected regrouping. In the same year they released their best album「memory」
Then after 2 years had gone by since their regrouping they released a fan anticipated disc in April of 2008.The disc titled 「FUTURE SOUL」contains only new songs.
It is expected that they may do something immense again so it is essential to keep up-to-date.

★原宿歩行者天国に５０００人のファンを集 め、機動隊が出動するほどの大パニックを巻 き起こし、その翌日、新聞の三面記事を独占 した一インディーズ・バンド。
★トップ・アイドルを退け、人気アイドル誌 の表紙をかざってしまう『業界的』おきてや ぶりな一ロック・バンド。
★東京ドームで行われたジョン・レノン１０ 周忌追悼イベントで、有名芸能人やレニー・ クラヴィッツ、ショーン・レノン、そしてヨ ーコ・オノらと堂々の共演を果たした一ド新 人バンド。
などなど、これらは全てその過去最大のブー ムの中で『ＡＵＲＡ』が作った数ある伝説の 中のほんの一部だって言うんだから、彼らが 当時のパイオニア的存在であったことは当然 、おわかりでしょう。
そんなぶっ飛んでた彼らが２００６年、彼ら の生まれ故郷であるライヴ・ハウス『The Live Station』の２０周年イベントをきっかけにまだ•ã‹ã®å†çµæˆã€‚同年、ベスト・アルバム『memor y』を発表。
そして２００８年４月、再結成してから２年 の月日を経て、新曲のみを収録したファン待 望のディスク『未来ＳＯＵＬ』をリリース。
