TAKAGI Kyozo (1903-1987) is a poet from Aomori in the North of Japan. He wrote poems in his minor dialect (Tsugaru) with an original written form to create a new style in Japanese contemporary poetry. I uploaded recordings from his last spoken word performance (Aomori, december 1981), accompanied by the guitar of MIKAMI Kan, folk singer from Aomori.
I'm not TAKAGI Kyozo. This is a tribute page for the poet with kind permission of his nephew TAKAGI Tamotsu (Gallery 51, Aomori).
