80年代後半からパンク/ニュー・ウェイブに影 響を受けたいくつかのバンドのギタリストと して音楽製作を始め、DRUM / BE-1ã¨ã„ã£ãŸåœ°å…ƒã®ãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ–ãƒã‚¦ã‚¹ã‚’ä¸­å¿ƒã«æ´»å‹ •ã€‚
93å¹´ã«ãƒ‡ãƒˆãƒ­ã‚¤ãƒˆãƒ†ã‚¯ãƒŽã‚„ãƒ”ãƒ¥ã‚¢ãƒ†ã‚¯ãƒŽã¨ã®å ‡ºä¼šã„を受けDJ活動を開始し、テクノ/ミニマ㠃«ã‚’中心にプレイ。
地元福岡を拠点に九州各地で活動。福岡のイ ンディーレーベルSyzygy Records主催の"Frequencies"、テクノ／アンビエン㠃ˆï¼ã‚¨ãƒ¬ã‚¯ãƒˆãƒ­ãƒ‹ã‚«ã®ãƒ‡ã‚£ãƒ¼ãƒ—イベント”Cycl e@O/D”等、福岡のテクノシーンの基盤を作っ㠁Ÿå¤šæ•°ã®ãƒ‘ーティーのレジデントDJとしてJeff Mills / Mark Ernestus(Basic Channel) / Carl Craig / Richie Hawtin / Derrick May / Theo Parrish /Monolake / Thomas Fehlmann / Alex Paterson / Pole /Jan Jelinek / Isolee /Laurent Garnier /Daniel Bell /Suburban Knight / Stacey Pullen / Alton Miller / Ian O Brien/ Substance & Vainqueur / Dego / Move Dç­‰ã€å›½å†…å¤–å•ã‚ãšæ•°å¤šãã®ã‚¢ãƒ¼ãƒ†ã‚£ã‚¹ãƒˆã¨ç« ¶æ¼”。
98年頃からarfart、pure_climber名義でテクノ/ミニ マル/アンビエント/ãƒ€ãƒ–ã¨ã„ã£ãŸã‚¹ã‚¿ã‚¤ãƒ«ã§ä ¹å·žå„地、 関東関西でのライブ活動を開始。01å¹´ã«ã¯äº¬é ƒ½ç™¾ä¸‡éæ™ºæ©å¯ºã§ã®Monolakeとのアンビエントム©ã‚¤ãƒ–や新宿Liquid RoomでThe Orb/ Mad Professor等と共演する等、福岡以外での活動を 行う。
07å¹´ã‚¢ã‚³ãƒ¼ã‚¹ãƒ†ãƒƒã‚¯ã‚®ã‚¿ãƒ¼ã§ã®ã‚½ãƒ­å³èˆˆæ¼”å¥å ®¶ã¨ã—てライブ活動を開始。
その場の空気を感じとり、自分自身からの連 鎖反応を即興で紡ぐ視覚的な演奏で、自主イ ベント[elemento]、 [résonance]を拠点に、福岡のカフェ/レストラム³ã€ã‚®ãƒ£ãƒ©ãƒªãƒ¼ã€ãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ–ハウス等で活動中。

He began his musical career in a punk band during the mid-80s, focusing his activities at the local live house Drum/Be-1.
In ‘93 he started DJing, centered on techno / minimal. Positioned from his hometown Fukuoka, he’s taking action all over Kyushu. Organizing the party “Frequencies” with the first Japanese independent techno label Syzygy Records, the deep Japanese Techno / Electronica / Ambient “Cycle” parties at legendary club O/D’s first venue, a resident DJ at a great number of parties that created the foundation of the Fukuoka techno scene, opening for innumerable artists regardless of their nationality such as Jeff Mills / Mark Ernestus (Basic Channel) / Carl Craig / Richie Hawtin / Derrick May / Theo Parrish / Monolake / Thomas Fehlmann / Alex Paterson / Pole / Jan Jelinek / Isolee / Laurent Garnier and so on.
Beginning to use the names arfart & pure_climber for his live techno / minimal / ambient / dub stylings in ‘98. He carries out activites outside of Fukuoka such as performing live with ambient artist Monolake at Kyoto’s Hyakumanbenchion Temple in 2001, and appearing with The Orb / Mad Professor at Shinjuku’s Liquid Room.
Beginning his live acoustic guitar solo improv performances in 2007. Feeling this immediate atmosphere, improvising his own chain reaction while weaving a visual musical performance, focused on the independent event [elemento], taking action at cafes, restaurants, galleries, and live houses in Fukuoka.
