Zemankova is performed by Afrotica who is a Esperantist and a homemaker living in Kumamoto city ,south part of Japan.

The project name comes from the Slovak'n outsider artist ,Anna Zemakova.
In 2004,Afrotica got married and then established home-recording career using her husband's equipments.

She composes songs and lyrics ,plays guitar ,bass and synthesizer etc. and performs the vocals and poetry readings.Her production which is made by home-recordings.

In January 2007 , Zemankova composed "natu no kusareduki".
The song is soundtrack for Toki,a Japanese puppet animation created by students of the Nagoya univercity of arts and science.

Since November of 2005,Zemankova has been perfoming her original live event,NICEGUY MEETING,once or twice a month.
All sound equipments,speakers and amplifiers etc. is owned and set up by Zemankova.
Zemankova performs other live shows at kumamoto contemporary art museum,cafe,gallery.
When Zemankova perfomes live show,she sings while playing acoustic guitar,solo style.Sometimes,her husbands,Itch,supports her with samplers and kaoss pad.
Zemankova has collaborated with filmmaker Ho Jason,who lives in Chicago.
Zemankova's live shows'style is altered according to the contents and locations of the show.
Zemankova's guitar , voice and mood is totally affected by the location's ambiance.

熊本市在住の主婦兼エスペランティスト、ア フロチカの1人バンド。
バンド名はチェコスロバキアのアウトサイダ ーアーティストの”Anna　Zemankova”の名前か゠‰ã€‚
現在、「女優、岸田今日子がバンドをやった らどんな音楽になるだろう」というテーマで 活動中。
2004年、結婚を機に、夫の宅録機材を(勝手に) 使い始め、宅録する形で始動。
2005年11月からライブ活動を再燃し、自主イベ ント「Niceguy Meeting」を遂行しながらライブを月１--２回の ペースで行う。
ライブ会場は熊本市現代美術館やカフェ、ギ ャラリーなど。
スピーカーやミキサー、アンプなどライブ機 材は全部持ち込みで行っている。
自主イベントでは様々なライフスタイルを送 る人達がリンクする場を作りたくてカフェで 無料ライブをしている。(2006年秋に出産した㠁®ã§ã€ã—ばらくは自主イベントはおやすみ。)
ライブ形態は毎回ライブの場所やイベント内 容に応じて変えている。
基本はギター1本と声だけで、どんな場所で゠‚Zemankovaの空気に染めれるようなライブバンム‰ã‚’目指す。
