Novel Sounds　

Novel Sounds is a record label established in 2003 based in Hiroshima prefecture.
Our intention is to release "composition works" not "products" - The priority is to pursuit our obligation for cultural works before thinking about the profit.
We mainly handle Japanese artists and have been releasing music constantly.
Our musical taste is something that has post-rock, electronica elements but basically, we just sign with the artists that we like in terms of musical sense and quality regardless of the genre.
For example, some artist shows jazz approach.
But at the moment, majority of our artists could be classified in the post-rock category.
We just keep on with our activities in the hope to deliver our music towards people with similar tastes.

利益追求以前に文化事業としての義務を優先 目的とする、
そういうスタンスのレコード会社です。
音的な方向性は、いわゆるポストロック的、 エレクトロニカ的な要素を含んだ音楽に
対する嗜好が強いですが、基本的にはジャン ルを問わず、クオリティの高さ、
センスの良さを基準に、気に入ったアーティ ストと契約をしています。
私達と近しい音楽センスを持った人達に、私 達の音楽を届けたいと願って、
活動を続けています。
現在、Novel SoundsのＣＤは、日本、ドイツ、サンフランシ スコで発売されています。
