◆2004年4月結成。
時間と気分が合う時に天神周辺の道端で演奏 したり、 ライブハウスやバーに不定期に出演中。 1900年代から1950年代の米国大衆音楽(主には、 JAZZ・JIVE・WESTERN SWING・BLUES・HILBILLY・JUGBAND MUSICなど)中心だが、ジャンルにはこだわらず 、SWINGしまくるアコースティックバンド。 20代の女性ターゲットに活動しているが、放㠁£ãŸãƒœãƒ¼ãƒ«ã¯å…¨ãè¿”ってこない。道端では、㠁ªãœã‹åƒé³¥è¶³ã®ä¸­é–“ç®¡ç†è·ç”·æ€§ã‚„å¤–å›½äººã«å¤§ä ººæ°—である。 2007年ゲットヒップレコードよりファースト゠¢ãƒ«ãƒãƒ ã€ŒSwingin' And Truckin'」を全国発売。7月Ska Flamesが主宰するDown Beat Ruler＠博多にも初出演！！大好評を博したか㠁¯ä¸æ˜Žã€‚9月、タワーレコード新宿店、福岡店 にて、こっそり気付かれずにインストアライ ブ。今後ともよろしくお願い申し上げます。
The group was formed in Fukuoka, Japan in 2004 and has been performing actively at various venues and on the streets. Their musical focus is mainly American popular music in the 50s such as jazz, jive, western swing, blues, hilbilly and jug. However, their have the ability to combine those styles and create their own sound. In 2007, their first album "Swingin' And Truckin'" was released has been selling continuously.
The name of the group "CHOINURE BOYS" comes from the famous character "The Soggy Bottom Boys" of the hit movie "O Brother". The Japanese word "CHOINURE" means in a bit funny way, being a little wet as opposed to be soggy. So the name has a hidden meaning that they are maybe not making a crazy hit right now but really being focued on what they do putting much effort into their music, and one day they will make a hit.
