About Me

Maybe born to be a kind of 'EXPRESSIONIST' if such a word exists -- or I'm nothing! When I was a shy little girl, not only people surrounding me but myself got so surprised to find: what came out from me was never quiet! Rather, my piano, essays and drawings were always eloquent.
Relishing life, I looked for the best way of communication (e.g. songwriting, designs, stage acting, etc). In consequence... I've been working as a pro writer and also visual artist ! Nice to be here today!!

Why 'SPIEGEL'? Real Name?
Absolutely, in my native language my given name means M-I-R-R-O-R! Very rare in spelling [while the first name itself is quite popular in other descriptions] , but Father chose it anyway hoping his daughter would grow up with inner beauty to reflect truth and sincerity.
Not sure whether I could make his dream come true, yet I'm sure works of mine reflect on human emotions, colors of nature or temperatures of life.
Why in German?
Because I admire Der Spiegel im Spiegel by Michael Ende. In high school days, a classmate gave me the fatal gift, "Hey, this is YOUR book!"
While I call myself this way, I've learned some more: espeja, espelho, miroir, specchio, spejl, καθρέφτης, зеркало, ogledalo, zrcalo, zrcadlo, lustro, veidrodis, scathán, ayna, kagami... Looking forward to ongoing encounters with my visitors here on MySpace = you're about to broaden my world:)
As Objective As Mirror
Blessed with: •Perfect Pitch (My professor is still angry that I didn't choose the piano.) •Exact Color Control [to reproduce hue & light/shade upon pictures] •Absolute Length of Time (I'm a good long-distance runner!)
Ah, sometimes a little annoying -- for example, Japanese ambulances wail like G-H-G-H [in G-dur]!
Other Factors in Myself - 'DOUBLE' Identities
*Nature: Inherited Father's linguistic faculty + Mother's literary sense
*Tongues: Brought up in 2 languages = Japanese + English (later added Castillano, too)
*Viewpoint: Even conceptionally as well as grammatically influenced in the above languages. Spent sometime in my early teens in California US, different ideas from typical Japanese; quite Americanized.
*Thoughts: Neutral between Parents' Lutheran + Japanese 'unconscious' Buddhism --By the way, my nationality and religion should be MUSIC/ART!
